It is very important that you do not mistake strength gains with building muscle mass, as you may find yourself using a significantly higher weight in all exercises six weeks after starting a new weight lifting routine, but have yet to gain any measurable muscle, and this will cause you to believe that waiting a few weeks longer will allow muscle size to "catch up" with strength improvements. However, it will prove to be a very long, disappointing few weeks if you take this approach, because your muscle size will not change, but rather continue to remain stagnate. What Weight Lifting Equipment Is Required

If your goal is to build muscle mass, a workout bench, barbell, 2 dumbbell collars (that allow you to add and subtract weight plates in order to manipulate resistance), and free weight plates comprise the minimum required setup to build muscle mass with my bodybuilding program. A Power Rack or Smith Machine is beneficial (enhances results by allowing you to take weight lifting exercises to failure safely) as is a high/low pulley machine (for training the back and triceps), and although these pieces of equipment will improve the speed of progress and total amount of muscle mass built, they are not required to follow my bodybuilding program.

I Am Very Busy! How Long And Often Will I
Need To Weight Train For Muscle Building?

I include 3, 4, and 5 day weight lifting workout routines with the muscle building portion of my IncrediBody Transformation Program, allowing you to choose based upon your schedule. Those who have 5 days per week to train can follow one plan, while others who are very busy and can only muster 3 days per week may embrace my condensed weight lifting workout plan (which still provides excellent results), therefore, you choose the workout schedule that best fits your daily agenda, and I've made sure to provide sufficient flexibility for any lifestyle. In fact, J.C. If you are in need of portability, you may certainly choose to implement a protein powder, but I suggest avoiding whey (due to MSG, prevalent in whey protein powders and which may cause cancer) and abandoning any protein powder that contains artificial sweeteners (such as aspartame, sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium, etc). Look through any current bodybuilding magazine, and what are the vast majority of advertisements selling? Muscle building supplements! We buy these popular bodybuilding publications believing that our $5 is well invested in over 300 pages of current bodybuilding information, yet most of the magazine is devoted to pushing worthless powders and pills, instead of providing useful muscle building techniques. With these magazines charging thousands of dollars per page for a black and white add, big time publications are earning hundreds of thousands in profit per issue on bodybuilding supplement advertising alone, so can you now understand why these magazines refuse to print the truth about supplementation?
