Thank You Jesus!
Thank You Jesus
First and foremost, I wish to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who has graced me with patience, dedication, wisdom, my Catholic faith and most importantly, life. In addition, my loving parents (Greg and Lisa), sister (Marianne), brother (Greg Jr.), and late grandmother (Carmen -- God rest her soul), along with caring and supporting friends (Kris C., Brian B., Bryan P., Larry M., Fetch, Kumo, etc) who provided the earthly foundation and positive environment to help smooth an already difficult path.
Although some categorize physical improvement as superficial, the process of gaining muscle mass or burning fat introduces virtues such as patience, dedication, organization, and self control, traits that are frequently absent in our society, and which greatly contribute to the achievement of other, more vital aspirations (fighting addictions, controlling impulses, etc). Is consistent exercise and diet vital to overall success in life? Hardly! Physical appearance is the least important factor in examining what one can offer the world; yet, can achieving significant physical improvements through proper diet & exercise enhance character and develop a new, positive attitude in other worthwhile areas? Certainly! I have found that my road to physical transformation has produced increased focus and effort in newly established goals, and I am sure you can find many others who express similar feelings.
You have likely heard the proverb which says that giving a man fish only amounts in a perishable quantity, while teaching a man to fish provides lifelong nourishment, and in keeping with this wise saying, knowledge, combined with dedication and persistence leads to continual success in any endeavor, and I hope to provide the necessary tools to those who, for whatever reason, choose to naturally improve their body in some way.
Has my committed exercise and diet lifestyle helped to circumvent negative, destructive thoughts and feelings? Yes, and this may in fact prove to be the most important, life enhancing impact of a strict, unwavering focus. Living by the teachings of the Catholic faith is, at times, hardly a summer vacation, yet in my experience, the key to maintaining such ideals in this life is clear, firm goals and aspirations, coupled with a strict work ethic, and of course prayer (which I obviously don’t require of you, but has helped me immensely!). Most of my high school and college years were spent testing various diet and exercise theories, which left no time to stray into many unhealthy habits, and although I prescribe to strong religious beliefs, even those who have no such framework benefit from focused, structured effort. How many solid foundations (physical, spiritual, financial, or otherwise) are built on hedonistic tendencies (quick indulgence designed to hide a lack of focus and purpose)? Is it a wonder that those referred to as "nerds" in school accomplish phenomenal success through simply avoiding commonly practiced mentally and physically destructive behaviors? Concentrate your efforts on a specific worthwhile task, and you'll produce amazing results that will satisfy you, and impress everyone in your life.
Whether God judges or we simply vanish into dust, a life of dedication can never harm, only help; I am offering the specific blueprint, you bring forth the effort, and together, the combination is unbeatable. With the proper knowledge, coupled with consistent effort, you will succeed! At minimum, my goal is to offer you the necessary path to drastic physical improvement, because if you decide to follow the rules I outline in the IncrediBody Transformation program, your body has no choice but to dramatically improve. Yet, rubbing the course against your stomach, or even praying for miraculous, effort free progress is, at best, an exciting dream (don't pray when you aren't willing to make a sacrifice; instead, try praying for strength to endure a new, productive lifestyle!), as nothing worthwhile is achieved through absent effort. I provide merely the roadmap, and it's your obligation to initiate, continue, and complete the journey. Destiny is yours; seize the moment, and God Bless!
